I'm a former journalist who is back in school and preparing for a second career in the non-profit sector. During my career in newspapers and trade publications, I worked in a variety of roles. When I worked as a freelancer, I wrote stories for The Charlotte Observer, The Denver Post, The (Greensboro, N.C.) News & Record, The (Rock Hill, S.C.) Herald, and several others.
